MatBloom, a women-owned Canadian wellness brand, will host an International Women’s Day yoga fundraiser on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Lanark and District Civitan Hall. The event will raise funds in support of Ottawa Interval House, which provides emergency shelter, advocacy, and support services to women and children experiencing gender-based violence.
Held in recognition of International Women’s Day, the event will feature an all-levels embodied yoga class led by Yoga with Aryelle Cyr. The class will focus on gentle movement, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness, creating an accessible and supportive environment for participants of all experience levels.
One hundred percent of donations collected at the event will be donated directly to Ottawa Interval House. Contributions will be accepted in cash at the door, with a recommended donation of $10 to ensure accessibility for the broader community.
“International Women’s Day is a powerful reminder that community care matters,” said Cleopatra Evelyn, Founder of MatBloom. “This event is about coming together to support women in our region while creating space for strength, rest, and community. We are proud to partner with Ottawa Interval House and contribute to the essential work they do every day.”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter a draw for a curated gift basket featuring products from local women-owned businesses across the Ottawa Valley, reinforcing MatBloom’s commitment to supporting women-led initiatives within the region.
